Mark A. Luz is General Counsel in the Trade Law Bureau at Global Affairs Canada in Ottawa, Canada. Mr. Luz represents the Government of Canada in international arbitration proceedings arising out of Canada’s international trade obligations (particularly NAFTA Chapter 11) and in the negotiation of free trade and investment protection agreements.
He will present "Canada and the International Investment Law Regime: Lessons from Three Decades of Experience".
