Univ.-Ass. Mag. Nikolaus Wieser studied law at the Faculty of Law, University of Vienna, and specialized in Legal Gender Studies. During his studies he worked as a paralegal in several Austrian law firms in the field of family law and as an intern at the Austrian General Consulate in Strasbourg (France). Starting with February 2014 Nikolaus was Research and Project Assistant to ao. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Christian Piska at the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law, University of Vienna. After completing his judicial clerkship he is now working as University Assistant (prae doc) at the Department of European, International and Comparative Law since March 2016.
His research focuses on European Institutional and Procedural Law.
