Curriculum Vitae

Univ. ass. Jonas Schürger studied law at the University of Bonn. During his studies he worked there as a student assistant at the Institute for Public Law and International Law. He also completed a semester abroad at Tongji University in Shanghai and two internships at international business law firms. Jonas Schürger focused his university studies on "International and European Law of Economic Relations".

Since March 2019, Jonas Schürger was first a research assistant at the Institute for Private International Law and Comparative Law at the University of Bonn and since September 2020 a university assistant at the Institute for European, International and Comparative Law at the University of Vienna. Since August 2019 he is also a member of the Young Researchers Group of the European Banking Institute. His current research focus is on European banking and capital markets law.
